If you’re in search of a cozy retreat that marries delightful food with picturesque surroundings, look no further than The Nest at Crabtree. Nestled within the Crabtree Hall Bus Centre in the tranquil village of Little Holtby, this charming cafe is a beacon for weary travelers and local patrons alike. Its unique location offers not only delicious meals but also stunning views, making it a perfect spot to unwind.

The Nest at Crabtree serves a menu that is both comforting and diverse — from the warming Hot Meal Of The Day, featuring options like baked potatoes and hearty soups, to refreshing Salads that include the zesty Caesar and the savory Balsamic Steak Salad. For those who prefer something sweet, the cafe boasts an array of delectable cakes that perfectly complement their selection of Hot Drinks. With rich, aromatic coffee, a variety of specialty teas, and indulgent hot chocolate, you are sure to find a delightful beverage to sip while you soak in the surroundings.

What truly sets The Nest apart is its welcoming ambiance. Many customers are drawn to its inviting atmosphere, offering both indoor and outdoor seating — the latter being shaded for those sunny days, which your senses will revel in. The allure of watching adorable alpacas and goats strolling nearby adds a unique touch, making it a haven of peace and serenity, as noted by satisfied visitors like Susan Hilditch and Kelly Moran.

While the majority of guests rave about the quality of the food and the friendly staff, there are occasional critiques about service. However, these instances seem to take a back seat to the overwhelming praises for the delicious and fresh meals, coupled with the lovely location. Tim Rhodes, another satisfied customer, highlights it perfectly: “One of the best situated cafés I've had the pleasure to eat in.” And when you consider that the cafe is dog-friendly, it’s the kind of place where loved ones—four-legged or not—can create beautiful memories together.

In a world bustling with options, The Nest at Crabtree truly stands out as a hidden gem that invites you to slow down, savor every bite, and appreciate the lovely surroundings. Whether for a quick snack or a longer meal, this cafe is well worth adding to your itinerary. Don't miss the opportunity to indulge in their offerings while enjoying the serene views they provide.

Food was very good and fresh. Not the most welcoming staff and acted like we were a bit of inconvenience when we walked in and asked about something on the menu. Cleaning cutlery in the dining area too which isn’t the most pleasant. Lovely location and food was very good however. Just a shame staff weren’t as welcoming.

We stopped for a while to enjoy a coffee and a tasty cheese scone. Alpacas and goats provided entertainment. Very peaceful place and friendly staff.

Have been here a couple of times now and happy to go again.A small cafe in excellent surroundings. The cafe is situated at the far end of the business park but is worth finding. The cafe does get busy at times as it’s very popular with cycling groups. If you go at busy times such as lunch you may have to wait.

One of the best situated cafés I've had the pleasure to eat in. Lovely food, friendly staff and great coffee. Well worth a diversion. Dog friendly too!
